Today I attended the talent day at the town hall here in manchester. This was an opportunity I could not miss up on. There were 40 or so cutting edge digital businesses all based in the north west region. Some of the company’s that were there were Ampersand, BBC, BJL, Carat, Code Computerlove, Delineo, Dream Agility, JD Sports Fashion PLC, Laterooms, Matmi, McCann, Realtime, Userzoom, Photolink, Magnetic North, Latitude, Livelink New Media. I found this event very useful as I was able to chat to certain company’s which took my liking, asking them question, which could help me in my next step towards the design industry. Most of them offered great opportunities for students who are just about to graduate, such as placements and internships. This day has most definitely helped me out and put my on track to what areas of design I want to be going into.
